Hand-poured into a handcrafted clay vessel and paired with a carefully finished mahogany base and lid, every piece celebrates the natural character of clay and wood. Each ARQA candle brings together clay, wood and flame through the language of handcraft. The candle is poured into a handcrafted clay vessel, resting on a square mahogany base individually detailed through pyrography and paired with a matching mahogany lid. Natural variations in the clay, grain and tone of the wood give every piece its own subtle character — a quiet signature of the hand that made it.

Each ARQA candle is presented in a handcrafted plywood presentation box, created to protect the piece and elevate the experience of receiving it. Designed for both gifting and safekeeping, the box completes ARQA as a considered object from the moment it is opened.

• Trim the wick to approximately 6 mm before each burn.
• For the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface to help prevent tunnelling.
• Keep the candle away from drafts, children, pets and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Stop using the candle when approximately 12 mm of wax remains.
• After the final flame, allow the vessel to cool completely. The handcrafted clay vessel and pyrographed wooden base are designed to be kept, reused and appreciated.
